Between June 11 and 12, we participated in the SpinOff Europa Conference’26 in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Throughout the conference, Radoslav Rizov, project manager at GATE Institute, together with Dr. Iva Krasteva, senior researcher at GATE, explored the role of Health Data Spaces in unlocking the potential of health data, highlighting the VELES project and its contribution to secure, interoperable, and policy-aligned health data exchange in Europe.
With over 500 participants, Spinoff Europa is the leading initiative for technology transfer, science-based innovation, and university spinoffs. This year’s theme was: “Building Europe’s Innovation Powerhouse.”
