VELES Presented on the Mainstage of SpinOff Bulgaria 2024

Between June 20-21, 2024, we attended SpinOff Bulgaria, the leading initiative for technology transfer, science-based innovation, and university spinoffs in Bulgaria.

Irena Pavlova, European Projects Manager at GATE Institute for Big Data and Artificial Intelligence at Sofia University, the coordinator of our Project, was one of the keynote speakers. Irena presented on the mainstage our project and how we will showcase the power of the Regional Smart Health Data Space.

SpinOff support the development of a sustainable spinoff ecosystem in Bulgaria, SEE and Europe by connecting national stakeholders with international partners. By presenting best practices, insights, and collaboration opportunities, they stimulate interest in the creation of spinoffs, promote the culture of technology transfer, and bring together European organizations, companies, academia, and investors.

Their goal for 2030 is to create 100 native spinoffs in Bulgaria, SEE and Europe, and become a powerhouse for science-based innovation in Europe.
