Between February 11-12, 2025, the VELES Consortium gathered in Bucharest, Romania, for our third plenary meeting, hosted by our partners at UEFISCDI.

Foresight Workshop: Envisioning the Future
On the second day, UEFISCDI led a foresight workshop, using visioning exercises to anticipate the future of the Health Data Space. This session identified key priorities, challenges, and opportunities, providing valuable insights to guide the next phases of our work.
At VELES, we are developing the Regional Smart Health Data Space Infrastructure and Technologies Specification framework—a secure, innovative, and efficient ecosystem that fosters trust and promotes the responsible sharing and utilization of health data.
Together, we are driving the future of smart health data—empowering better healthcare, enhanced research, and transformative patient outcomes.
